Term 1
This term we have based our writing on the book ‘The Wisp’ and explored the difficult lives children in refugee camps experience. We have also written about the amazing world underground where the children have learnt about animals, caves, coal mines and fossils beneath our feet. In Geography, we have been looking at the area we live in. We have found out about geographical features around and we looked at human and physical features and painted pictures of the landscape in Bristol. In Science, our topic has been all about the life cycle of plants. We have explored plants to investigate and observe water transportation and can describe the functions of different parts of a plant. In Spanish, we have learned how to count to 10 and in art, the children have explored warm and cool colours. Enter text...
