CHAIR OF GOVERNORS WELCOME ...

The Governors at Fair Furlong are a committed group of volunteers made up of a variety of people from different backgrounds with a wide range of skills and expertise. We have parent governors, staff governors who represent the school and other co-opted governors from the local area - the thing that connects us all is that we are passionate about Fair Furlong and ensuring every child can be the best they can be. 

We provide challenge, support and encouragement to the Head and leadership team to ensure a high quality of education and care for our children. To do this, we conduct monitoring and evaluation visits at school, oversee the school's budget, advise on school policies and procedures and work with the headteacher to determine the strategy and vision for the school. 

If you are a parent of a child at school or an individual passionate about joining a school governing board, we would love to hear from you.
